Tiny Poem: Open Your Mouth, Let Out Your Voice

by lizdances on January 30, 2013

in Life, Tower Hamlets, Tuesday Tidbit

(here is a small

poem about

singing:

open your mouth

let out your voice.

stand in a circle

with twenty strangers

and

let the sound

ring over you.)

Tonight our teammate Leanne launched Sing Tower Hamlets, a new community choir. It was full of laughter and joy and lots of music and if you’re in Tower Hamlets you should come check it out next Wednesday night! For the rest of you, well, you should join a community choir wherever it is that you live. Really. You should.

That is all.

i love leeane. also, i hear liz is killer at the ukelele. i just dusted off my ukebanjo (ukelele with a banjo head from the 1900s), so someday we will totes have to jam.
