About Us

Peter and Liz AndersonLiz and Peter Anderson were raised by wolves… no wait. Wrong story, sorry.

Liz and Peter Anderson are trying really hard not be one of *those* couples from Wheaton College, but they kinda are. Sorry about that… um, trying again…

Hey! We’re Peter and Liz Anderson.

We’ve packed up our entire lives and moved them across the pond to London! But you might be wondering: Who in the world are we?

Peter was born and raised in the same small town in Indiana that his father and grandfather grew up in. It’s a two-stoplight kind of town. In a good way.

Liz was born and raised in the same California wine country town where Charles Schulz lived (the guy who drew “Peanuts” comics. Liz used to go ice skating at “Snoopy’s Home Ice.”)

We met at Wheaton College—during the first weekend of classes freshman year. And then we got married the day before graduation. (Liz wore her veil under her mortarboard. I mean, you only get to do that sort of thing once, right?)

Liz’s socks don’t match. Like right now. They don’t. Liz Digitale Anderson

Peter didn’t know he was a photographer until our senior year of college, when he spent so much money developing film we realized we’d go broke if we didn’t switch to digital.

Liz spent a semester studying sustainable development in Thailand. She learned how to harvest rice by hand and how complicated the world is.

Peter spent a summer working with Latin America Mission in Honduras. He thought he learned that overseas ministry was not for him. He may have been wrong…

Liz has had four years of choir with some high school thrown in, four years of dance with some college thrown in, and four years of making theatre with a full-time job on the side.

Peter used to think he’d spend his career in the Army. He wound up pastoring a peace-loving church instead.

Liz spent three summers selling books door to door. That sure teaches you to rely on God in a hurry.

Peter spent a year managing the ice cream shop at Wheaton. They gifted us five tubs of ice cream for our wedding reception.

We’ve spent three years being the youth pastors at a multi-ethnic Mennonite church in Chicago. This is harder and more delightful than you think.

Liz has recently taken up the ukelele. It allows her to play old school jazz and F#m7 chords with aplomb.

Peter AndersonPeter has recently taken up martial arts again. Hapkido allows him to think of 37 ways to throw you with aplomb.

In another life, Liz would have been a high school choir teacher.

In another life, Peter would have been a ninja.  Or a samurai.  Something like that.

Read about what we’ll be up to in London!
